Dimishtra Sittampalam completed his high school education at Victoria Institution and his A-Levels at Taylor’s College. He went on to read Economics at UCL and graduated in 2010. In university, he was active in the United Kingdom & Eire Council for Malaysian Students (UKEC), and was involved in both the Malaysian Student Leaders Summit (MSLS) and Projek Amanat Negara (PAN). Dimishtra follows the economic and political scene when he can. He is a supporter of progressive values (as well as Manchester United) and believes in the virtues of a strong working class. Farhana is currently an equity analyst for local investment manager, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). She graduated from the LSE with a BSc Accounting and Finance in July 2010. She was actively involved in the UKEC from ’07 till ’09. She was the co-director of the organisation’s flagship annual Careers Fair in London and National Treasurer in 2009. Farhana also made the most random friends through active involvement in AIESEC for the London School of Economics and AIESEC UK. An alumnus-returnee of Antarabudaya Malaysia (AFS) student exchange programme, she loves everything French as long as it’s not blue cheese. Apart from finance and investments, Farhana’s next new hobby is personal finance.

Completed his high school at Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya before leaving Malaysia to do his A-Levels at Mill Hill School, London. He then graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a degree in Mathematics followed by a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Exeter. He was previously a financial analyst specialising in corporate finance and strategy with the scope of his work covering the infrastructure and energy sector. He is currently playing a corporate finance and strategic planning executive in a construction firm that specializes in railway and infrastructure. An avid sports fan, he enjoys watching all types of sports television programs ranging from the Barclays Premier League to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Completed his high school at the British International School of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, prior to coming back to Malaysia to do A-levels at Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar. During his time at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus, he was elected twice into the Student Association, first as Information Technology Officer 2006-2007 and later President of the Student Association 2007-2008. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science and Management Studies. He is currently working as a management consultant in Accenture. Holds an LLB from London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE). She is Barrister-at-Law in Lincoln’s Inn and has been admitted as an Advocates & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya. Qurratul Ain is currently attached to thee Islamic Banking & Takaful department in Bank Negara Malaysia. Previously in London, she was actively involved in UKEC from 2006 until 2008 and was the Project Director for Project Amanat Negara IV in 2007. Apart from her interest in the Islamic Finance Industry, Qurratul Ain loves to scuba dive, run, cook and read books in her free time.

Graduated from Kings College London with a LL.B degree and is currently pursuing his CLP in Kuala Lumpur. During his time in London he worked with the International Centre for Security Analysis as a Nuclear Research Consultant. He was selected to attend the fully sponsored ESARDA (Nuclear Safeguard and non-proliferation) seminar in Ispra, jointly organized by the JRC (Joint Research Centre) and the European Commission. Upon graduation he was invited to join the IAEA in Geneva but chose to serve his country instead. He was also part of the Penang state Symphony Orchestra, and PCC orchestra.
