Alia Ishak recently completed her Masters in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at Imperial College London Business School. Currently, she is working at the Asian Equity Sales desk in CIMB Securities (UK) Ltd, London. A performing arts and sports enthusiast, she has performed in Musicals including the first Broadway in Malaysia, Dreamgirls the Musical in 2011 and plays as striker for CIMB’s Futsal team. Previously, whilst completing her BSc at Queen Mary University of London, she headed the Malaysian Society as President before moving on to being an active member in the UKEC for 3 consecutive years – where she was appointed as the Project Director for the 1st Annual Malaysian Student Leaders Summit (MSLS), and was also the National Liaison Officer. Today she serves as Chairperson of YCM. Completed his high school at Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya before leaving Malaysia to do his A-Levels at Mill Hill School, London. He then graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a degree in Mathematics followed by a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Exeter. He was previously a financial analyst specialising in corporate finance and strategy with the scope of his work covering the infrastructure and energy sector. He is currently playing a corporate finance and strategic planning executive in a construction firm that specializes in railway and infrastructure. An avid sports fan, he enjoys watching all types of sports television programs ranging from the Barclays Premier League to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Mohd Sulhi Azman (Max) was born on Sunday, February 15th, 1987 in Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from University of Kuala Lumpur with a Bachelor of Engineering Technoology (Hons) in Mechatronics and completed his Master of Science in Applied Physics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Apresent, he is embarking on a quest to discover his true passion by trying different things in life.

Jeremy Ng

Jeremy is currently an Associate at PwC Malaysia, specialising in corporate finance and strategy advisory. Outside work, he serves as the Assistant Honorary Secretary of the the London School of Economics Alumni Society of Malaysia. Jeremy graduated from the LSE in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. During his time in university, he served as the Deputy Chairman for the United Kingdom and Eire Council for Malaysian Students (UKEC) from 2009-2010 as well as a Co-Director of the LSE Business Society. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys travelling, training for marathons and trying to figure out how to make the most of his DSLR camera.

Former columnist at The Malaysian Insider, Ezlan now writes occasionally while completing his ACCA qualification. Loves management and networking, he truly enjoyed his Otak-Otak Internship, Vice Chairmanship of UKEC 2011/12 and time served as the Director of UKEC-Graduan Inaugural Corporate Luncheon 2012 at Thistle Marble Arch, London. He strives hard to balance politics and business knowledge, just like he tries proving that with hard work, it is possible to be both street-smart and book-smart. @ezlanmohsen is a futile branding exercise to show that he is not all about work, 24/7.

Adam is an Economics major and a long suffering Arsenal fan. He fancies himself a believer of the progressive values of the left and is a huge admirer of the works of John Kenneth Galbraith and Paul Krugman. Recently graduated, Ashman previously read economics and management locally in an external programme. During his studies, he has had attachments within multiple industries including banking, telecommunications and the gas industry. He is currently employed in a construction firm as a corporate finance executive. In his spare time, he enjoys reading on current issues in politics and foreign policy. He also enjoys a wide variety of sports especially squash and football.

Jo Yee is a Strategy Analyst at Accenture Malaysia, where his work focuses on the resources industry. He graduated with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton UK. This was followed by an MSc in Financial Engineering at Imperial

College Business School, London in 2013. During his university days, he served as a student ambassador for Imperial College as well as a photographer for the Business School Events Team. Jo Yee also has a passion for teaching, having served Catholic High School, PJ as a Substitute teacher as well as a teaching assistant for an elementary school in Southampton. He aspires to inspire others in business, in the same way he did with his students during his tenure as teacher.

Syahirah is a law graduate currently working at Education Performance and Delivery Unit (PADU), a unit under the Ministry of Education aimed at driving the delivery of the Malaysian Education Blueprint. She is enthusiastic about editorial journalism and is currently Editor of YCM Edits, YCM's online publication. She is also passionate about quality education and women empowerment. She enjoys reading, running and volunteering at schools.

Siti Mastura is currently working as a Cost Estimating Engineer in Shell Malaysia, mainly focusing on Upstream Business within the region. Prior to her present role, she started her Shell career in Upstream Logistics in 2010, with experience in managing logistics performance and developing medium and short term plans for offshore logistics. She graduated from University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 2009, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering and minor in Economics.
