Wai Ken is currently in the Corporate Strategy team of the newly rebranded Affin Hwang Capital, having played a role in the post merger integration between the two investment banks. Prior to that, he spent two years at Khazanah Nasional in the Creative & Media, Iskandar and Leisure & Tourism sectors. Outside the office, he is an endurance sports enthusiast having completed marathons and triathlons. Wai Ken attended North Sydney Boys High School and is a graduate of the University of New South Wales.

Syahirah is a law graduate currently working at Education Performance and Delivery Unit (PADU), a unit under the Ministry of Education aimed at driving the delivery of the Malaysian Education Blueprint. She is enthusiastic about editorial journalism and is currently Editor of YCM Edits, YCM's online publication. She is also passionate about quality education and women empowerment. She enjoys reading, running and volunteering at schools.

Recently graduated, Ashman previously read economics and management locally in an external programme. During his studies, he has had attachments within multiple industries including banking, telecommunications and the gas industry. He is currently employed in a construction firm as a corporate finance executive. In his spare time, he enjoys reading on current issues in politics and foreign policy. He also enjoys a wide variety of sports especially squash and football.

Aqil Ruzain Abu Hassan Asaari

Aqil is currently a Retail Finance Advisor at Shell Malaysia, specialising in performance management and project valuation. He is also a part time Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) student. Aqil graduated from the University of York with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance. During his time at university, he served as the Deputy Chairman of the United Kingdom and Eire Council of Malaysian Students (UKEC) from 2014-15. Outside of work, Aqil enjoys engaging in sports such as football, badminton and golf.

As an ENTJ Psychology graduate, James had previously worked with Global IT Company, Management Consulting Firm and Mental Health Centre. Currently he is spreadheading talent development and retention strategy in a banking software house. James enjoys cafe hopping and meeting up like-minded people who value entrepreneurship spirit.

Mohd Khair Amsyar

Amsyar is a psychology graduate who is currently a Senior Associate in EY Malaysia's advisory practice. Prior to this, he was teaching Psychology at a local university. Outside of work - he enjoys reading with a good cuppa coffee in hand, going for a weekend sail, hiking, traveling and having an intellectual discourse. He is a curious person who enjoys the intricacies of current affairs in politics and foreign policy, new technologies, and high performance coaching.

Munirah is currently heading the Malaysia Marketing division at FACT System Malaysia, an international IT Software company. Nationally an award-winning professional of 8 years experienced leading corporate marketing and internal communications for diverse industries. She is specialising in conceptualize and orchestrate marketing campaigns that effectively reinforce and build brand images. She is a strong supporter of WWF Malaysia, believing that human being and nature should be live as one and harmony. Fashion and IT technology has always been fascinate her interest in exploring the up-to-date trends.

Saachi Asok Kumar

Saachi is currently part of the Corporate Strategy team at the newly rebranded Affin Hwang Capital. He graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2013 with a Masters in Business. During his time in university, he served as the President of the UQ Malaysian Students' Association for the 2011-2012 term and was committee member of MASCA. Currently, he is a committee member of the Malaysian Chapter of the UQ Alumni.

In his free time, Saachi enjoys reading about technology, lifehacking and macro business/economic trends. He is just as likely to enjoy a lazy day catching up with his favourite TV series.

Ivan advises on M&A transactions at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he enjoys the erratic nature of transactions and learning about different businesses. He graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Economics, which he pursued under a university scholarship, and is the current Malaysian alumni chapter President. Outside of work, or on the rare days he slips out of it, he goes diving, reads a book, and trains muay thai of late.

Currently reading law externally under the University of London International Programmes, Christina is also involved in KPUM: United Kingdom & Eire Malaysian Law Students' Union, the National Young Lawyers Committee and is the Vice-President of the Ambassadors Society in her college. A seasoned mooter, barista, King's Scout and volunteer with non-profit organisations, she is constantly on the lookout for new experiences. When she is not burying her nose in textbooks, she enjoys non-academic reading, muggle Quidditch and foreign films.

Luqman is currently a final year ACCA student at a local university. He writes for the editorial publication of the student association in his faculty and has been actively involved in their organisation of various events with a main responsibility for marketing initiatives. Besides accounting, he has a keen eye for graphic design, enjoys volunteering and reading.

A soon-to-be electronics engineering graduate. Throughout his studies, he has undergone his internship at Accenture Malaysia. He is enthusiastic about technology and always amazed at how the advancement can be brought to the society. He is currently embarking on a journey towards prominent leadership. Squash and badminton are the sports he enjoys playing.

Thinesh is a final year undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with Environmental Engineering at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus (UNMC). He has held numerous key roles during his time at UNMC. He was the President of The Rotaract Club and the Vice President of Enactus. His other societal affiliations include YSEALI, Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS), Successor Generation Initiative (SGI), ASEAN Young Professionals Network (AYPN), & Teach for Malaysia (TFM). In his free time, Thinesh enjoys travelling.
